Elena Mappus - President

Elena is Manager of IT Communication for Southern Company, one of the largest producers of electricity in the United States. Prior to joining Southern Company in 2004, she gained experience in corporate communications and public relations at Northrop Grumman, Paymentech, and an Atlanta-based PR agency. She joined IABC's New Orleans Chapter in 1996 and served in a leadership role while a member of the chapter in Dallas, Texas. After relocating to Atlanta in 2002, she joined IABC/Atlanta and quickly began volunteering. Kelly Frommer - Past President/Sr. Delegate

Kelly Frommer is Senior Director of Communications for Manheim, the world's largest auto remarketing organization. She leads the planning and execution of internal communications and public relations initiatives for the company's 32,000 employees located worldwide. Kelly has also worked for Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits and Siemens Energy & Automation in media relations and internal communications positions. Stephen Boyd - President-Elect

Stephen is General Manager of Branding, Strategy and Design firm Luckyfish Studios. He oversees strategy, finance and operations as well as business development - skills that he has spent 10 years developing in the Atlanta creative marketplace. Michelle Clark - Director of Communications

As director of creative services for Hayslett Group - Strategic Communication, Michelle produces a myriad of materials including online promotionals, brochures, posters, magazines, direct mail, branding campaigns and more for a diverse client group.  Michelle previously served as Manager of Production and Design for Oz Publishing, Inc., working on book and magazine design for communication, music and film industries. She has served IABC/Atlanta since 2004 in a volunteer capacity and provided creative services as the IABC design sponsor for the past two years. Chip Bush - Director of Finance

Chip is the Assistant Manager for Global Asset Protection at The Coca-Cola Company.  During his 18-year career at the Company, he has served in a number of communication, technology, operations and customer service roles.  He earned his A.B.J. from the University of Georgia with a major in magazines and a minor in biology and chemistry.  He has coordinated various efforts for IABC/Atlanta, including educational relations and the chapter website, and served on the IABC International Student Membership Committee in 2007. Dan Webber - Director of Marketing

Dan is a Senior Account Executive for Edelman, a global public relations firm. As a member of the Corporate Communications and Real Estate & Sustainability teams, he helps drive research, writing, media relations and influencer relationship development for several Edelman Corporate clients. He counsels both private and publicly traded companies on thought leadership platforms, influencer organization choices, targeted positioning of C-level executives and the development of strategic media relationships. Gayle Peeples - Director of Membership

Gayle is a vice president on the AT&T Southeast Region team in Atlanta. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard in 2007, Peeples served clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Southern Company Services, Bank of America, AGL Resources and JPMorgan Chase. Her client work focuses on executive communications, program development and project management.  Her corporate communications career has included positions with Cox Enterprises, Southern Company Services and the Georgia Dept. of Education.  Gayle received a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.  She earned accreditation status from the International Association of Business Communicators and has won numerous awards for writing and communications programs. Lou Barbato - Co-Director of Programming

Lou is a Performance Solutions Manager for ITAGroup, a leading full-service performance improvement company. He is responsible for working with partner clients to develop performance solutions that help motivate people to attain individual and corporate objectives. Jo Ann McCracken-Redding - Co-Director of Programming

Jo Ann is a marketing communications consultant with over 20 years' experience in corporate communications and advertising. Her OnPoint system assists clients in the development of PowerPoint presentations and key marketing messages. She has B2B and B2C marketing experience across a broad spectrum of industries including global foodservice, insurance, financial services, retail and high-tech. In addition to her involvement in professional associations and service as IABC co-director of programming, Jo Ann is active in community organizations and serves on the board of Samaritan House of Atlanta, a charity that offers employment readiness services to homeless men and women. Cindy Kicklighter - Co-Director of Professional Recognition

Cindy is Manager of Communications for Comcast, the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services. She leads the internal communications efforts for the Atlanta region and is responsible for fulfilling Comcast's commitment of providing employees with consistent, timely and personal communications. She has more than 22 years of experience in public relations and marketing in the telecommunications, non-profit and healthcare industries. Roula Kylintirea - Co-Director of Professional Recognition

Roula is a Senior Market Research Analyst for BBDO Atlanta, the fastest growing advertising agency in the Southeast and part of the BBDO Worldwide Network, one of the top 10 global advertising brands. She conducts ad claims analytics, forecasting and competitive monitoring primarily for AT&T. Before joining BBDO Atlanta, she served as Marketing Communications executive in the financial, chemical and IT industries in UK and Greece.
