- Networking. IABC offers opportunities to network with members around the world through the annual International Conference, local chapter meetings, and professional development seminars. Plus, members have access to IABC's online member directory which includes members' address, phone, and fax information, and is fully searchable on a number of parameters such as industry, company, or geography. You can even email other members through our confidential technology.
- Job Searching Assistance. IABC's web site lists hundreds of jobs at all levels.
- Learning Opportunities. IABC offers plentiful resources to hone your skills, learn from the experiences of others, and study new areas of interest. Membership includes a subscription to Communication World Magazine, delivered six times a year and featuring detailed case studies and how-to advice from long-time practitioners, as well as the latest news on industry research, technology, and trends. CW's sister publication, CW Bulletin, is a monthly electronic newsletter addressing major topical concerns facing today's communicators. IABC also offers a online library available only to members, as well as generous member pricing to events and educational products.
- Affinity Programs. IABC has partnered with vendors to bring members discounts on products and services, and to offer products and services members might not otherwise find available to them as an individual (such as insurance). Legal restrictions prevent some products and services from worldwide availability.
- Recognition: Accreditation and Awards Programs. IABC offers the opportunity for members to receive official recognition of their competence as business communicators and dedication to the profession…a valuable addition to any resume or C.V. Entry and/or application fees are offered at a significant discount to IABC members.
- Membership Dues Payment Plan. IABC members are able to pay their annual membership dues in four equal monthly installments in the first four months of the membership. This program is available through online join and renew only. The option to pay in four installments will appear automatically as part of the usual online process at www.iabc.com/join or www.iabc.com/renew.
