Individual Memberships

Before applying for membership, please read and agree to abide by the Code of Ethics for Professional Communicators.

Joining is easy. To complete an online application, just browse to http://www.iabc.com/join. You can also request an application by phone or email at 1.800.776.4222 and service_centre@iabc.com.

Dues include membership at three levels: International, District and Local Chapter. In addition to the Individual membership options, there are Student and Corporate discounts.

Student Memberships

Receive 100% of membership benefits at 16% of the cost!

We currently have student chapters at the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University. However, it is not required to have a student chapter on campus to be a student member.

To receive the discounted student membership, you must be a full-time student of a college, university or other educational institution, or a part-time student working toward a degree. Student members should not be presently engaged in the organizational communication profession in a paid capacity.

Applications for student membership must be received at least 60 days prior to graduation date. Visit the Student Connection on the IABC website to download the student application. (http://www.iabc.com/student)

Corporate Memberships

Interested in saving on membership dues? Corporate packages may be your ticket.

With five or more members paid for by one check or one charge to a credit card, savings begin with a 5% discount on dues, and can move up to 10% with more members.

For current members, the first year's dues will be pro-rated to account for membership months already paid for. Visit IABC's international Web site for more information.
