Community Service Ideas for Members
As communications professionals,
IABC/Atlanta is committed to developing the skills of its members
through instruction, networking and idea sharing. In addition, we are
dedicated to the cause of helping others in our communities in these
areas. By providing the unique skills of IABC/Atlanta members to
non-profit organizations, we are able to enrich the communities where
we live and work.
IABC/Atlanta members are encouraged to promote
volunteer and community service opportunities by listing them in this 'IABC In Action" section of the Web site.

- Pro bono work in the areas of writing, strategic planning, graphic design, Web design, PR for non-profit organizations.
- Teach/instruct classes on communications topics

- Other professional development instruction (donation of interview clothes, guidance in applying for scholarship or grants)
- Internships
IABC/Atlanta does not promote any one organization nor do we ask our members for financial contributions to individual groups or causes.
