2007 Golden Flame Award Winners


ATLANTA, Oct. 12, 2007 – The Atlanta chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) announced its winners for the 2007 Golden Flame Awards, recognizing excellence in communications. The winners were formally acknowledged last night at the 2007 Golden Flame Awards Gala at the Academy of Medicine in midtown Atlanta.

Of the more than 80 award winners, 32 received Bronze awards, 27 received Silver awards and 24 received Gold awards. Five entries in the awards program received a perfect score and were honored as Platinum Stars. Edelman (www.edelman.com) received four Platinum Stars. Manheim (www.manheimautoauction.com) also received a Platinum Star. Cox Enterprises, Inc. (www.coxenterprises.com) and Edelman tied for the Communication Companies of the Year award honoring outstanding contributions in practicing, promoting and enhancing professional business communications in Atlanta.

The Golden Flame Awards program (www.iabcatlanta.com/pages/golden_flame.shtml) is an annual event hosted by IABC/Atlanta to recognize professional communicators in Georgia in several categories, including work from writers, illustrators, designers, photographers, social media experts, public relations professionals, and other creative communication professions.
